"Paul Cezanne INspired Apple Still-life"
The students watched a video on the artist Paul Cezanne and his still-life paintings. The students drew at least 3 circles for apples. They added a plate and pattern to the background. We also discussed the colors of Fall apples and which color was their favorite to eat!

"Color Monsters"
The students listened to the story "The Color Monsters" by Anna Llenas. They also watched a quick video on how to draw a monster. They created their own version of a color monster! Very cute!
"IF THE DINOSAURS CAME BACK"
The students listened to the story "If the Dinosaurs Came Back" by Bernard Most. We discussed the meaning of a cityscape and a skyscraper. The students drew city buildings and skyscrapers with a black marker or sharpie. During the 2nd Zoom art, the students were shown how to draw several dinosaurs and we talked about collage. The children drew a dinosaur of their choice on a piece of color construction paper, cut it out and glued it to their cityscape.
"polar Bears"
The students learned some interesting facts about polar bears, such as, how fast they can swim and run! We looked at photographs of them and their cubs. The students drew their own polar bear.
"PenGuins"
The students listened to "Penguins Love Colors" by Sarah Aspinall. We also discussed several facts about different species of penguins. They drew a penguin or penguin family. They also added a rainbow of colors or other color designs to their picture.
